**Job Title: Red Seal Millwright ($40 - $50+ an hour)** Job Description We are seeking a skilled Millwright for a 1-2 month project in Surrey, BC, working Monday to Saturday on an afternoon shift. The role involves installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting mechanical systems with a focus on conveyor systems and electromechanical equipment. There is an opportunity for the right candidate to transition into a long-term position and move to other projects. Responsibilities + Assemble, install, and maintain conveyor systems and material handling equipment. + Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and mechanical drawings. + Diagnose mechanical issues and perform necessary repairs. + Collaborate with project managers and crew leads to ensure project timelines are met. + Travel to various project sites across BC and Canada as needed. + Ensure work is conducted safely and in compliance with site and company standards. Essential Skills + Experience with mechanical installations and conveyors. + Ability to read mechanical drawings and blueprints. + Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. + Willingness to travel for project-based work. + Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Red Seal Millwright certification + Certification in Fall Protection and Scissor Lift (or willingness to obtain prior to start). + Experience in mechanical assembly, construction, structural steel, or similar. + Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle for transportation to site.
