The Opportunity The emphasis of this job is to manufacture and weld quality auger parts, safely and efficiently, as required. Must have MIG welding experience. **The Team** Our large production team consists of welders, general laborers, machine operators, painters, and more. As a welder you will collaborate with your Production Supervisor and peers to produce quality augers for our customers. **Responsibilities** + Fabricating and testing custom machinery and tooling to improve production or to facilitate new product releases + Assembling, installing, and testing machines to make sure they are working correctly + Assist with the layout and placement of equipment and machinery in factory settings to ensure minimum downtime + Supporting our maintenance department in identifying and repairing problematic parts of a machine by running tests, making temporary repairs, or installing new parts + Using machinery or equipment, such as forklifts, to move mechanical parts + Must work in full compliance with the approved safety regulations + Follow AGI’s Code of Business Ethics and related compliance policies + Additional duties and responsibilities as assigned **Qualifications** + Red Seal Millwright certification or; 10+ years of equivalent experience required. + Ability to be a team player due to constant interactions with similar employees and stakeholders such as engineers, managers, and part vendors, amongst others + Working knowledge of mechanical technical skills to allow them to effectively read documents such as specifications, machine manuals, and blueprints + Able to work independently, with minimal supervision, while being part of a team + Able to lift to 50lbs AGI is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity.
