Summary: Within the manufacturing and extrusion process, this position is responsible for providing materials coverage with a variety of activities related to Recycle and Logistics areas.

Expected Salary: $17.50/hour
What Success Looks Like:
Proper use of equipment to perform loading and unloading materials both to perform recycling duties. Perform cycle counts of compounds, scrap and micro ingredients. Perform compound material transfer duties when necessary. Weigh and record scrap material, and support inventory activity information. Perform housekeeping duties, including cleaning grinder and pulverizer bag houses, operating parts and filters. Hook up railcar hoses. Fill gaylords and bins with materials and compounds, as well as transporting gaylords of with material to and from lines or other designated areas. Identify and eliminate sources of contamination Adhere to established standard operating procedures, and safety guidelines.What you Bring:
High school degree, or equivalent. Previous experience driving electric and/or propane forklifts; certification preferred. Previous experience within a manufacturing environment with heavy equipment. Ability to learn and operate heavy equipment, including electric pallet jack, grinder, pulverizers, and other mechanical tools. Good computer proficiency with a variety of software; experience with SAP a plus. Commitment to safety, with knowledge of OSHA safety standards, and willingness to adhere to safety guidelines.
Additional Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Good understanding of basic math. Good reading ability, including the ability to read and understand packaging layouts. Good computer proficiency with the ability to log into a variety of systems and enter data accurately. Good problem solving and detail orientation, with the ability to resolve moderate issues, and adapt quickly to changing assignments.Ability to perform the physical functions of the job, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
