Overview

Homes for Independent Living is hiring a Recruiting Coordinator to join our team to assist candidates with the onboarding process. Tasks including ensuring candidates background check forms are completed and clear, TB tests completed and clear, updating hiring leader of start date and contacting candidates of first day information.  Other tasks may include preparing the new hire file, assisting candidates during interviews, updating job posts and other duties as needed to hire direct care professionals, group home leaders, and health services leaders.

This position can be in our Brookfield or Green Bay office.

As a Recruiting Coordinator, you will:

Assist scheduling and review pending background checks, TB tests and other tasks for new hires and complete needed steps. Contacting candidates and leadership with updates.

Scan documents for each new hire creating their employee file

Update job postings as needed to entice candidates to apply to openings

Effectively communicate in both verbal and written form maintaining professional conduct and confidentiality. 

Must be willing to work in office 2-3 days per week and travel to events as needed.

Other tasks as needed to assist the recruiting team in hiring at HIL.

Qualifications:

College degree strongly preferred, not required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications 

Highly effective communicator in both verbal and written form 

Highly organized with an ability to work under tight deadlines and with little direction

Exceptional organization and problem-solving skills

Valid driver’s license for 3 years with an acceptable driving record per company policy; maintains insurance on personal vehicle.
