The Opportunity

The PSS Global Chapter Services Team Lead manages a team of specialists within the People Support Solutions (PSS) organization, focusing on areas like recruiting, strategic pipelining, rewards, and more. They work with P&C colleagues to foster an open and diverse work culture based on trust and performance while enhancing Roche's reputation as an attractive employer.

Responsibilities

Leadership, people and culture

Team Leadership and Development: Lead all employment decisions such as hiring, resource planning, training, development, performance management, compensation (e.g., bonuses and salary increases), and disciplinary actions. Foster team engagement, coach team members on development and career plans, and build a culture that attracts and retains top talent.

Stakeholder Engagement and Customer Experience: Engage with stakeholders, gather feedback, and drive continuous improvements to the customer experience. Act as an escalation point for issues within your area of responsibility.

People Processes and Leadership: Role model Roche Leadership Commitments and People Practices by leading people processes, partnering with leaders and chapters, and coaching others on P&C topics like recruiting, rewards, mobility, and compensation strategies.

Frequent Career Dialogues: Conduct regular check-ins to ensure ongoing conversations on key topics such as Career, Capabilities, Connections, and Contributions, aligning development plans with organizational needs.

Collaboration and Responsiveness: Partner with other chapters (e.g., PSS, IWS, PR&R, Business Partnering) to create organizational value. Ensure ownership, prioritization, and timely implementation of solutions while providing P&C consultation with a caring and connected approach.

Outputs & Deliverables

Delivering High-Quality Solutions and Employee Satisfaction: Ensure high customer satisfaction by understanding business requirements and delivering end-to-end solutions with urgency. Drive successful completion of cases or projects while maintaining a high degree of employee satisfaction within your team.

Vendor and Stakeholder Management: Manage complex senior vendor relationships and actively participate in or lead work product teams (WPT) on complex topics, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with organizational goals.

Global and Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate across regions and globally with PSS teams, P&C chapters (e.g., IWS and PR&R), and other enabling functions (e.g., Finance, Procurement, IT) to achieve global consistency, enhance the PSS network, and deliver effective services to customers.

Business Acumen 

Leverage business and P&C expertise, insights, and decision principles to deliver support on complex topics, participate in global or regional initiatives, and ensure compliance and alignment with policies, procedures, and legislative requirements through collaboration with global and regional P&C colleagues.

Strategic P&C Insights & Innovation

Analyze P&C and business metrics to make informed decisions, share insights with leaders, and recommend innovative solutions that align with the organizational culture, strategic direction, and resource needs, while proactively addressing organizational challenges using key data sources.

Who you are

University degree or equivalent, HR preferred

3+ years people leadership experience strongly preferred

5+ years of related experiences in Recruiting, Sourcing,  Mobility (International and US Domestic), Compensation, in multinational companies

Strong understanding of compensation/benefits practices and solutions or (Digital) Talent Management, Recruitment, Sourcing

Proven experience handling projects involving different stakeholders and regions

Experience leading a geographically dispersed team preferred

Experiences with HR processes, functional expertise, and HR generalist know-how

Fluent in Spanish & English is required, additional languages a plus, based on region (i.e. French, Portuguese)

Strong customer orientation with proven experiences, service delivery management, HR process design or employee administration
