Start your journey now! **Your role and responsibilities** As a senior recruiter, you are responsible for all recruiting and staffing programs and activities related to the attraction, selection, hiring and on-boarding of talent into IBM by partnering with TA ecosystem as well as with IBM managers to help build a workforce with those critical skills needed to move the business forward. This role can also be responsible for ensuring talent processes comply with appropriate business controls or initiating/maintaining immigration statuses. Individuals in this role may be a subject matter expert and/or be a team lead, providing work direction, guiding employees on various processes and acting as a point of escalation for team members. **Required technical and professional expertise** * Extensive knowledge and deep exposure in end-to-end recruiting - sourcing, screening and selection, job matching, interview process, salary calibration and on-boarding; including client/stakeholder management. * Extensive sourcing capability, outstanding market talent insights and capacity to penetrate untapped markets * Independent, creative and with a strong sense of responsibility * Excellent communication skills with strong competitive market awareness * Demonstrates the ability to solve difficult problems with effective solutions **Preferred technical and professional experience** * Experience in recruiting IT Japanese-speaking talents is highly preferred. * Ability to speak Japanese language/Nihongo, apart from English in a business setting, is also highly preferred. * Exposure to both technical/IT and Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) hiring is a plus.
