What you’ll do:Facilitate group activities for residents with differing abilities, interests, needs and preferencesDeliver an array of planned and spontaneous social, recreational and therapeutic programsIn collaboration with management, provide direction, support and assistance to volunteers during activity programs and familiarizes volunteers with related activity techniquesPay keen attention to changes in resident functional ability, interest, participation, mood and ability to accomplish tasksWhat you’ll need:Certificate or Diploma from a recognized Recreation program or equivalent education and experience with seniorsCurrent First Aid and Food Safe – Level I certificates requiredExperience working with seniors with moderate to severe dementiaA Class 4 driver’s license would be an asset

Wage Levelling Salary: $28.95 per hour
