Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Recreation Agent / Entertainer is responsible for organizing, promoting, and executing recreational and entertainment activities for guests of all ages. This role ensures a fun, engaging, and memorable experience, enhancing overall guest satisfaction and supporting the brand’s image of hospitality and liveliness.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and conduct a variety of recreational and entertainment programs such as sports, games, fitness sessions, poolside activities, theme nights, children’s activities, and evening shows.Ensure all recreational areas are clean, safe, and well-maintained, and that equipment is properly set up and stored after use.Interact with guests in a friendly, energetic, and professional manner, encouraging participation in activities.Provide information on daily events, facilities, and services offered by the resort/hotel.Collaborate with other departments to organize special events or seasonal festivities.Support children’s activities, ensuring safety and supervision at all times.Perform or participate in stage shows, dance routines, or live entertainment as needed.Monitor guest satisfaction and provide feedback to the management team for improvements.Follow safety protocols and emergency procedures, ensuring guest wellbeing during all activities.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Skills:

High school diploma or equivalent; degree in Hospitality, Recreation, or related field is a plus or experience.Musician and Singer who can perform live.Previous experience in a similar role in hospitality or entertainment preferred.Outgoing personality with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Fluency in English and French; additional languages are an asset.Strong organizational and time management skills.Ability to lead group activities and perform in front of large audiences.Good physical condition and stamina for extended activity periods.

Additional Information

Working Conditions:

May be required to work weekends, holidays, and MID shift.Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a resort/hotel environment.Requires physical activity such as lifting, bending, standing for long periods, and engaging in sports.
