We are hiring!! Scheduled Shift Sunday - Thursday 12PM-9PM Responsible for working with Recreation team to provide students with a comprehensive and diverse recreation program. Promotes health and wellness through overseeing the recreation activities as outlined on the approved recreation schedule. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates of Arts Degree or 1-year related experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Driver’s License and meet Company insurability requirements. CDL preferred. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. Qualifications Job Responsibilities + Follow all integrity guidelines and procedures; ensure no manipulation of student data. + Assist with the supervision of a comprehensive and diverse recreation program. + Coordinate recreation activities with CPP and Social Development, including evening programming. + Coordinate recreation and leadership activities with Center staff and local community resources. + Ensure safe practices and compliance within prescribed safety guidelines. + Document student participation and accountability during recreation activities. + Maintain inventory of equipment and materials; control usage; recommend purchases; perform repairs as needed. + Oversee the overall appearance, condition, and organization of recreation department facilities. + May supervise the student recreation aide program. + Produce accurate, thorough, and timely work assignments. + Maintain appropriate attendance, accountability, and productivity standards. + Plan, prioritize, and organize assignments to meet established goals and deadlines. + Apply job knowledge effectively and proactively maintain the skills required to perform duties. + Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH. + Provide high-quality supervision and management for students; positively influence behavior with respect and accountability. + Provide timely operational support for Center operations; pursue continuous improvement to fulfill program objectives. + Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; contribute meaningfully to group efforts with relevant ideas and knowledge. + Provide quality and timely information to DOL/Company when requested. + Identify problems, analyze causes, evaluate solutions, and follow up to ensure corrective action is taken. + Collaborate with staff from all departments to ensure effective supervision and student services. + Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director, Center Duty Officer, or Shift Manager, including temporary assignments in other departments as needed. + Perform other related duties as assigned.
