Job Title: Recovery Coach Department: Chemical DependencyLocation: Evelyn Brandon Health Center, 81 Lake Avenue, Rochester, NY 14608 Hours Per Week: 40Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:30AM - 5:00PM SUMMARY: Recovery Coach serves as a peer advocate to an active patient in Chemical Dependency. This position requires a good understanding of self-help groups and recovery process form alcohol or drug addiction. RESPONSIBILITIES: + Provides support and guidance to patients who are receiving addiction services. + Interacts with the clinical staff in a professional manner. + Documents in the medical record in a timely manner, the services provided. + Utilizes supervision and is able to receive feedback and take direction. + Maintains credential in good standing and attends OASAS trainings to further develop skill as recovery coach. + Recruits and supervises volunteers and provides training. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: + Certified Recovery Peer Advocate certification required.. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: + 1-3 years of work experience as a certified or provisionally certified peer advocate in chemical dependency preferred. EDUCATION: LICENSES / CERTIFICATIONS: PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: S - Sedentary Work - Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve walking or standing for brief periods of time. PAY RANGE: $17.85 - $20.00 CITY: Rochester POSTAL CODE: 14608 The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components.
