Miami Job Corps is an education and training center located in Miami Gardens FL We are a Center which uses student-focused programs to ensure successful training and employment placement for each individual we serve.

POSITION SUMMARYResponsible for the maintenance, accuracy and completeness of student records and schedules.
Job Responsibilities
+ Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information, including operating policies and procedures, handbooks, data, employee and personnel information, program information, contract proposals, financial information, and student records.
+ Audit and verify all separating student records for accuracy, validity, and integrity.
+ Maintain accurate and complete student records to support timely submission of required reports; deploy CPP and CDP records effectively.
+ Ensure Center compliance with CIS database management program requirements.
+ Maintain compliance with all USDOL and Job Corps guidelines regarding student accountability and documentation, including Financial Audit requirements.
+ Assist students with matters concerning pay, allowances, leave, and travel.
+ Train Records Clerks and other staff in the proper maintenance and completion of student records in compliance with USDOL requirements, PRH, CIS, and other directives.
+ Prepare and submit accurate and complete reports (e.g., morning report, weekly report, leave records, allotments, enrollment, pay).
+ Understand, follow, and implement program integrity per Adams SOPs, PRH, and Job Corps regulations.
+ Provide superior customer service to students, staff, and external partners.
+ Deliver required and supplemental training for new and current employees.
+ Mentor, monitor, and model the Career Success Standards as required by the PRH.
+ Show respect and courtesy to students while holding them accountable for their actions and behavior.
+ Provide quality services to students, ensuring needs are met while pursuing continuous improvement of records operations.
+ Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing; contribute meaningfully to group efforts by sharing relevant ideas and knowledge.
+ Provide accurate and timely information to DOL/Company as requested.
+ Identify problems, analyze causes, evaluate solutions, and follow up to ensure corrective action is taken.
+ Collaborate with staff across all departments to ensure effective supervision and student services.
+ Accept direction and supervision from the Center Director, Center Duty Officer, or Shift Manager, including temporary assignments in other departments as needed.
+ Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCEHigh School Diploma required. Associate Arts Degree from an accredited school in Data Processing, Business Management or related area preferred. Computer literacy and proficiency in the Microsoft Suite of applications required. Supervisory experience desired.
