Records Management Analyst
Hybrid Role: 2-3 Days per Week Onsite + Policy and Program Development + Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive Records and Information Management Program including the development of key corporate policies governing the agency's records + Develop schedules and operational manuals describing records lifecycle and retention, the application of sensitivity labels, naming conventions, and other metadata + Support Information Governance at the agency. Act as a key member of the agency's Information Governance team, ensuring that Records Management practices are aligned with Information Technology strategies and systems, and that projects are carried out in accordance with Records Management best practices + Oversee the implementation of Records Management systems across departments + Work with department managers and executive leaders to develop systems and procedures that align with mature Records Management standards + Inform the development and configuration of information systems in conjunction with the Chief Information Officer and the Information Technology department to ensure that systems are designed and maintained to ensure the integrity, accessibility, and accuracy of the agency's records. + Oversee the destruction and final disposition of records in conformity with Records Management policies + Freedom of Information + Oversee and lead the agency's Freedom of Information program, including ensuring that systems and procedures are in place to comply with the Freedom of Information and Protection of Privacy Act (FIPPA) + Act as a delegate of the Head of the Public Body, for the purposes of FIPPA, with respect to Freedom of Information matters + Ensure that requests for access to Information are processed in a timely manner and in compliance with legal requirements + Lead Freedom of Information policy and program development to remain current and in compliance with evolving FOI laws and industry standards + Act as a champion of Records Management across the agency by developing training programs and materials for staff to ensure that Records Management requirements and best practices are understood and implemented Required Education, Skills & Experience Post-secondary degree in Archival Studies, Library and Information Science, and/or an equivalent combination of training and experience such as specialized training or certification such as: + Certified Records Analyst (CRA) or Certified Records Manager (CRM) from the Institute of Certified Records Managers (ICRM) + Information Governance Professional (IGP) certification + Training in ARMA standards, including the Generally Accepted Recordkeeping Principles (GARP) and ISO 15489 + Minimum 4 years' experience in Records and Information Management, preferably in the public sector or other regulated environment + 3 years' experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide RIM programs and policies + Previous experience with classification systems, retention schedules, and metadata standards + Familiarity with MS Sharepoint as an Electronic Document and Records Management System + Excellent written and verbal English language communication skills + Familiarity with the BC justice system, an asset About NTT DATA: NTT DATA is a $30 billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
