Record to Report Analyst (Financial Reporting)

Location: Ōtāhuhu, Auckland

As Record to Report Analyst (Financial Reporting), you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting for HEINEKEN’s operations across New Zealand and Australia. You’ll take ownership of statutory financial statements, monthly close activities, and intercompany reconciliations, while building deep expertise in IFRS and HEINEKEN’s global reporting systems. Working closely with global stakeholders, legal teams, and external auditors, you’ll help keep our financial reporting sharp, compliant, and audit-ready. Key Accountabilities:

 

Prepare and complete statutory financial statements for four entities across New Zealand and Australia in compliance with IFRS and HEINEKEN Group policies Manage month-end close activities, including accruals, manual journals, and reporting in the global CIL system Perform accurate and timely reconciliation of financial data across SAP, CIL, and HeiMatch Lead intercompany reconciliation processes and royalty calculations with other HEINEKEN Operating Companies Support external audit processes and ensure timely submission of signed financial statements to the Companies Office Execute and document internal financial controls under HEINEKEN’s Risk and Control Management (RACM) model Collaborate with Strategic Finance to support the Annual Plan and Rolling Forecast (RoFo) processes

 

Your background and experience:

 

4–6 years of experience in financial accounting and reporting, ideally gained within a Big Four or other Chartered Accounting firm Strong technical knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, with the ability to work efficiently with complex data sets Familiarity with ERP systems, preferably SAP Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders
