In this role, you will perform in-depth investigations and be responsible for the effective resolution of issues impacting our clients, operational risk and RBC’s financial results. What will you do? 

Reconciliation day to day activities include a mix of investigations, problem solving, follow-ups, deadlines, support and reporting that requires the use of various different systems and human interactionsRecommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness to the quality of service we provideCollaborate with caring colleagues and leaders who support your development through learning and coaching opportunitiesProactively identify issues and challenges to remove obstacles to successPrioritize activities and reports and adjust as needed so that important team objectives and client deadlines are metAct as a coach and provide guidance to resolve issues and update all documented procedures to enhance our ability to provide outstanding service

What do you need to succeed?

Must have:

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience Demonstrated ability to take the initiative to solve problems, curious mindset, take ownership and be accountableCommitted to get the job done, collaborative work ethic and win as a team style in a fast-paced environmentAn innovative thinker who is proactive, is well organized with attention to detail and cares about supporting everyonePassionate about continuous growth and learning. Every challenge is an opportunity for improvementStrong written and verbal skills

Nice to have:

Experience with Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, SUMIF, etc.)Knowledge of General Ledger reconciliation processing and Attestation PolicyFamiliar with RBC applications and products
