POSITION SUMMARY:
Natera is seeking a friendly and resourceful Receptionist intern to join our front desk team with a specific focus on supporting mail processing and handling. As part of our Executive Services Group, the receptionist will welcome visitors, answer phones, maintain office security and perform other duties around our headquarters as needed. The ideal candidate will enjoy interacting with departments across the organization as well as visitors, always having our patients and customers top of mind. An interest in growing within the Natera administrative organization is a plus!
Work Schedule: Tues, Wed, and Friday from 2-4pm
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Maintain safe and clean reception area Welcome visitors and ensure they are properly signed in Manage inbound and outbound mail - including but not limited to scanning documents, repackaging documents, labeling documents Maintain security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges Efficiently and professionally triage all incoming calls Take messages and assures individual that they are delivered to the intended recipient Work as part of a larger administrative team to assist with general office duties including lunch set ups, conference room upkeep, guest escorts and other projects as neededQUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma required 1 year minimum receptionist/customer service experience Office experience preferredKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
Reliable and responsible team player Exceptional phone etiquette Strong verbal and written communication Proficient with the Google Suite Professional Customer focused Excellent organizational skills Ability to work under pressure in a fast pace environment This role works with PHI on a regular basis both in paper and electronic form and have an access to various technologies to access PHI (paper and electronic) in order to perform the job Employee must complete training relating to HIPAA/PHI privacy, General Policies and Procedure Compliance training and security training as soon as possible but not later than the first 30 days of hire.PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This position requires the ability to use a computer keyboard, telephone communication, email communication, reading of printed materials and light lifting. This is a full-time position that requires no travel The pay range is listed and actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location.
