Rotating Weekends and Holidays are Required GENERAL SUMMARY: Under general supervision receives visitors and patients, gives general information and directs them to the proper office or person; also sorts, processes and distributes all mail. Responsibilities: + Greets all visitors and patients, providing general information and directing them to the proper office or person. + Handles phone inquiries regarding patients and services. + Sorts, processes and distributes all incoming and out-going mail, including sending faxes as appropriate. + May handle the sale of flowers and plants and is responsible for maintaining financial records of sales. + Ability to access current patient information including room and visiting status. + Coordinates the delivery of flowers and patient's mail. + Specific Knowledge, Skills, Abilities: Interpersonal skills necessary to communicate effectively with a wide variety of individuals; patients, vendors, physicians, staff members and the general public.| Math skills necessary to make change from flower sales. + May assist leader with training, scheduling and coordination of associates. + Performs all other duties and projects as assigned. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: + High School diploma equivalency - 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required. *Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable EXPERIENCE PREFERRED: + 3 Years of Customer Service experience preferred. + 6 Months of Hospital or Physician Office experience preferred. + Flexibility in work schedule + Ability to work in a team setting.
