About the Program
Abt PNG Management Services is a shared services platform supporting five programs based in PNG.
The five programs include:
Australia PNG Economic Partnership (APEP) Australia PNG Subnational Program (APSP) PNG-Australia Transition to Health (PATH) PNG Partnerships for Improving Education (PIE) PNG Women’s Lead (PNGWL)The Abt PNG Management Services departments support the delivery of the above mentioned Abt Programs through corporate services functions across seven teams including Finance and Travel, People and Culture, Procurement, Grants Management, Legal and Contracts, ICT, Facilities and Logistics and Safety and Security.
About the Opportunity
This role will provide front office and administrative support to ensure smooth day to day running of the office.
Key Responsibilities
You will be responsible for:
Answering and directing incoming telephone calls and walk-in enquiries in an effective efficient and maintain a visitor register book. Provide support to maintaining stationery supplies, office equipment and cleaning services in an effective and efficient manner. Assist with the stocktake and ordering of office stationery and supplies. Obtain quotations and provide support with raising purchase orders as required. Issue prepaid phone credits ensuring to replenish the portals monthly. Provide support to the organisation of events and catering for official functions and meetings. Monitor and manage all incoming written communication as directed. Work closely with the janitorial team in coordinating support to office activities as required. Assist with tasks as directed by the supervisor. Always develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with team members and address colleagues and the client in a professional and courteous manner. Other duties as directed.

About You

Required skills/experience:
Tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Procurement or in a related field At least 2-3 years’ experience in a Secretarial or Receptionist role Strong customer service skills. Excellent communication and organisational skills. Independent thinker, able to multitask and stay focused. Must be proficient with Microsoft software such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
