Receptionist
Job Description The Receptionist will be responsible for answering and directing telephone calls received at the Corporate office location. Acts as a face of company when greeting vendors, job applicants, and employees. Provides general office support with a variety of clerical activities and related tasks. Essential Functions Professionally administer all incoming calls Ensure each phone call is redirected accordingly Provides callers with information such as company address, directions to the company location, company fax numbers, company website and related information Greet guests & employees in a professional, friendly, hospitable manner Receive, sort and distribute incoming mail Coordinates the pick-up and delivery of express mail services FedEx, UPS, LoneStar, etc. Manages REI payrollgeneral in-box Provides responses to emails or forwards questions to appropriate party for follow-up or response Assist as needed on new client orientations and benefits enrollments Complete written employment verifications Handle data entry for Background Check information and forward results to client Order, receive and stock office supplies Scan all incoming employee paperwork as well as Accounts Payable and Tax documents to Data Processing Occasionally assist the payroll department with payroll distribution printing and packaging payroll checks and vouchers Non-Essential Functions Maintain knowledge of the companys standard operating procedures Maintain familiarity of company products and procedures Preferred Skills Ability to work under pressure and effectively handle stress Ability to complete assigned projects without strict supervision Ability to communicate clearly excellent telephone manners and etiquette Possession of strong organizational skills Possess exceptional interpersonal communication skills Required Education & Experience High School diploma One 1 year receptionistcustomer service experience Proficient in Microsoft Office Products Outlook, Word, Excel, Access This is not necessarily an exhaustive list of all responsibilities, performance standards, measurements, skills or requirements associated with this job.
