Description We are looking for a dedicated Receptionist to join our team on a contract basis at our shelter location in Falls Church, Virginia. This role is essential to ensuring smooth daily operations by providing front desk support and exceptional customer service. Free parking is available on-site. Responsibilities: • Welcome visitors and clients, ensuring a detail-oriented and friendly first point of contact. • Answer and direct incoming calls promptly and accurately. • Assist clients by providing information or directing them to the appropriate staff or resources. • Maintain a clean and organized reception area to create a welcoming environment. • Support administrative tasks, including scheduling and record keeping. • Collaborate with team members to address client needs effectively. • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures. • Provide bilingual support in Spanish when needed, enhancing communication with diverse clients. • Handle time card approvals and coordinate with office staff as required. Requirements • Previous experience in a receptionist or administrative role. • Strong verbal and written communication skills. • Bilingual in Spanish is preferred. • Proficiency in basic office software and phone systems. • Ability to multitask and maintain professionalism in a fast-paced environment. • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. • Must be vaccinated as per organizational policy. • Availability for the specified contract period with flexibility to meet operational needs.
