This position is responsible for the professional and efficient management of visitors, vendors, telephone calls, and messages, as well as a variety of clerical duties that support the operation and presentation of a professional office.

Greet and direct all visitors including vendors, clients, job candidates, and teammates from other DaVita locations to appropriate destination within the buildingEnsure completion of visitor sign-in and security proceduresAnswer all incoming calls and direct callers to appropriate contactHandle special administrative projects as well as overflow work from the department as requestedKeep supervisor well-informed of activities and results of efforts, problems or potential problems identified; recommend corrective actions to supervisorSign for deliveries when necessary and notify recipients i.e. flower deliveries, courier, etcEnsure the reception station is staffed at all times; ensure reception area is maintained and is clean, orderly, appropriate for visitors and teammatesCreate temporary teammate identification badges as necessary per established standardsKnow, understand and follow the DaVita teammate handbook and safety and security policies and proceduresOther duties and responsibilities as assigned including but not limited to:Work overtime with little or no notice as neededAttend team meetings, phone conferences, and training as neededKnow, understand, and follow teammate guidelines, employment policies, and department or company proceduresAssist when needed for day-of tasks for Marketplace events. This includes being the point contact during the event for event hosts and vendors i.e security, janitorial, engineering and IT teamConsistent, regular, punctual attendance as scheduled is an essential responsibility of this positionMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Education, licenses, certifications, and experience required to fulfill the essential duties, include computer skills as required.
High school diploma or equivalent requiredSome college course work preferredMinimum of six (6) months’ experience in a general office environment requiredMinimum of one (1) year’s experience as a business office receptionist strongly preferredExperience with multi-line phone systemIntermediate computer skills and proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook requiredSome Canva experience preferredESSENTIAL BEHAVIORS, SKILLS, AND ATTITUDES REQUIRED FOR SUCCESS IN THIS POSITION

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
