Job Description
We are seeking a friendly and professional Reception Team member to join our organization in Brighton, United Kingdom. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive experience for all visitors.
Greet and welcome guests in a warm and professional mannerHandle guest inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently and courteouslyManage check-in and check-out procedures, ensuring a smooth process for all guestsRespond to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries promptly and accuratelyCoordinate with other departments to fulfill guest needs and resolve any issuesMaintain a clean and organized reception areaProcess payments and handle cash transactions accuratelyAssist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and report generationStay informed about hotel amenities, local attractions, and events to provide guests with relevant informationEnsure compliance with all safety and security proceduresQualifications
Strong customer service orientation with a friendly and professional demeanorExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environmentDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsProficiency in basic computer applications and hotel management systemsExperience with OPERA CLOUD system is preferredPrevious experience in a similar reception or customer service role is an assetProblem-solving skills and ability to handle challenging situations with tactFlexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidaysHigh school diploma or equivalent; higher education in hospitality is a plus
