Responsible for a variety of functions within the distribution center, such as receiving, stocking, loading and unloading merchandise, picking and operating heavy-duty equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts. Do not report employees who perform one of these duties as their primary function. TPURPOSE:
Responsible for department duties of receiving product, offloading trailers, stocking, and managing inventory. Provides management with load status, discrepancies, inventory issues, etc.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Communicates with Manager and or department leads to ensure orders are completed, received, and stocked in locations.Coordinate with the Manager to ensure proper inventory.Ensure all receiving, processing, shipping, and inventory control functions are executed accurately by verifying orders and auditing reports.Follows all receiving guidelines, ensures orders are processed correctly.Maintain files for all goods received in the warehouse. Follow the company retention policy for all documents.Recommend new or improved methods, techniques, and procedures for various warehouse processes.Develop and maintain a good working relationship and open lines of communication with all departments to ensure Department, Company, and Client goals are l.Ensure good housekeeping and safe working conditions in the facility.All other duties and responsibilities as assigned.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES

2-5 years of warehouse experience

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will spend a large majority of time walking, standing, and using hands to push/pull. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee is required to independently lift and /or move up to 20 to 50 pounds regularly and part of two-person team up to 100 pounds occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee may be exposed to hot or cold temperatures, outside weather conditions and risk of electrical shock. The employee may be exposed to high, precarious places, fumes, or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
