Job Description

Manage activities related to the receiving, put away, storing, and shipping of raw materials and finished goods; ensure materials are received from proper vendors, that they are delivered to inventory, and that finished goods are packaged according to specification and shipped promptly. Ensure the security and accountability of materials and goods with inventory control. Ensure materials are available to meet production schedules through Material Kitting, Kanban and PFEP strategies. Establish and modify operational methods and procedures. Select, develop, and evaluate personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.This position reports to Warehouse manager.

Receiving Operations:Inspect incoming shipments for damage and quantity accuracy.Verify purchase orders against received goods.Process receiving documentation and update inventory records.Coordinate with vendors regarding delivery issues.Shipping Operations:Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.Prepare shipments for delivery, including packaging and labeling.Coordinate with carriers for pick-up and delivery schedules.Verify shipping documents and ensure compliance with regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

Leadership Skills: Ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.Organizational Skills: Excellent time management and ability to prioritize tasks.Attention to Detail: High accuracy in data entry and document verification.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to identify and resolve issues related to inventory and shipping/receiving processes.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and related software. EBachelor's degree in business, engineering, or related.5 years of experience in Supply Chain, working with Shipping and receiving activities.Management experience is needed.SAP ERP knowledge (Warehouse and Inventory Modules).English skills.And deployment of activities.
