This position is in Cargill’s protein and salt business, where we provide wholesome, high-quality food products to a wide range of customers, from foodservice operators and grocery stores to manufacturers and exporters.

Job Purpose and Impact

The Receiving / Inventory Supervisor will be directly responsible for managing all inbounds operations and inventory systems. In this role, you will directly oversee receiving and inventory teams to obtain successful operations in regards of both departments, this will be done by managing teams with safety, quality, efficiency, and communication at the forefront.

Key AccountabilitiesExecute routine operations of assigned area, ensuring direct reports are following policies and procedures related to employee, food and feed safety and environmental compliance.Ensure inventory is correct on the daily basis, including strong communication with several teams to ensure accuracy.Partner with multiple departments managers to meet customer specifications and timeline.Develop operational plans and monitors routine operations for all distribution processes for multiple departments, processes and shifts.Develop, supervise and provide coaching to direct reports including coaching company core values and guiding principles for assigned facilities or region.Responsible for personnel decisions related to performance and disciplinary actions for your direct reports. You will also spend time completing the same tasks as employees on your team.Other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum QualificationsBachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experienceMinimum one year of directly related work experience.3 years of Inventory experience.3 years of warehouse experience.Preferred QualificationsOne year of supervisory experience.SAP experience.IPFS experience.Warehouse / Inventory system experience.Bilingual: English and Spanish.Lean six sigma.
