Job Description

EBA&D seeks a Quality Assurance Technician who will serve in the role as a Calibration Administrator/Receiving Inspector. This position is located in Graham, KY    

 Responsibilities:

This position supports multiple teams in Graham.  The candidate will be responsible for providing effective verification of products and certification packages against requirements and the communication of findings associated to the verification.

Perform inspection of components and assemblies as part of receiving inspectionMaintain accurate, neat and complete inspection recordsKeep work area organized and clean and follow all established safety guidelinesWork within a team structure to achieve company and department goalsPerform additional duties related to specific area assignments when requested Clean, repair and calibrate using standards with an unbroken chain of traceability to nationally accepted standards and a total summation of accuracy in accordance with company and customer specificationsMaintain the calibration program in accordance with quality system procedures, including quality records of calibrations performed, repairs made and actual readingsDevelop new procedures and revised existing procedures as needed.Issue notifications of calibration status including IM&TE and when those are outside of tolerancesOversee the purchase of calibration services for IM&TE which cannot be calibrated directly via EBADEnsures IM&TE is packaged in a way that will not detract from its calibration status during transportation and verifying that the IM&TE and associated records conform to purchase order requirements.

Requirements:

The successful candidate must have graduated from High School or equivalent G.E.D. and 5+ years of experience with inspection of mechanical components in an aerospace or defense related company.

 Required experience includes

Capable of utilizing all standard inspection tools and equipment including calipers, micrometers, drop indicators, CMM and optical systemsMust be capable of programming a CMM. The ability to operate and program a Mitutoyo Vision CMM, QV Pak Software, is highly desirable.Knowledge of ISO/AS proceduresMust be able to read and understand military specifications and industry standardsRead and understand EnglishEffectively communicate and interact with all levels of managementHigh attention to detailBasic PC fundamentals, knowledge of Microsoft Office is essential.
