To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Receiving Inspector located in Buffalo Grove, IL.
Reporting to the manager the potential candidate would be responsible for the inspection of products received, and documentation of said products.

What a typical day looks like:
Assess all incoming materials and components for compliance with quality specifications and regulatory standards, ensuring they meet predetermined criteria before acceptance into inventory.Communicate with suppliers regarding discrepancies in materials or quality issues and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure prompt resolution and minimize production delays.Compare delivered materials against purchase orders and specifications, ensuring all necessary documentation (certificates of compliance, test reports) is present and accurate. Conduct physical tests and measurements on samples from incoming shipments to validate their quality, functionality, and safety, utilizing relevant inspection tools and techniques.Maintain detailed records of inspections, non-conformities, and corrective actions, as well as generate reports for management to track trends, identify areas for improvement, and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
Mechanical inspection experience. Typically, 1-2 years.Highschool diploma or equivalent experience.Visual inspection experience including documents and labeling on products. Computer software knowledge. Be able to utilize different components of Microsoft office suite. Being able to utilize measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, gales.)Scope / Impact
