Purpose
The MRO Receiving and Inventory Professional is responsible for all aspects of MRO inventory in the plant including: receiving, overall storeroom operations, and inventory management.
Key Responsibilities
Daily coordination of tracking, receiving, and expediting of goods and services at the plant site, and ensuring that these are delivered in a timely manner and at maximum total cost benefitKnowledge and understanding of supplier site requirements to ensure safety and policy enforcement during supplier visitsResponsible for picking and kitting items for maintenance jobs and work ordersChampions site warehouse improvement effortsInspects kitted items for accuracy and keeps maintenance technicians informed of completed kits and all related detailsCoordinates with Reliability MRO Manager for Item Master EntryValidate storeroom inventory to ensure removal of obsolete partsElectronically issues and returns all storeroom items within Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) and assists maintenance technicians with requisition entryResponsible for processing of all specialty tooling in the tool roomManage VMI areas for overages, stock outs and cleanlinessCollect barcodes for issued inventory and submit to one location dailyMaintain packaging Items, cardboard, and recycling within storesTracks inventory and maintains appropriate warehouse inventory levelsWarehouse inventory replenishmentMechanical and electrical warehouses and receiving area housekeepingMonitor all remote storeroom inventoryAssists in reconciliation of inbound invoicesReceive freight deliveriesUnloads equipment trucks as neededMaintains a database of parts and equipment orderedLooks for cost reductions in the form of inventory reduction or eliminationProvides excellent customer service for internal and external customersModel company core values
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalentTwo (2) years of stockroom, inventory control, warehouse, purchasing, receiving (or a combination of all); or any equivalent combination of experience and training that demonstrates the ability to perform the key responsibilities of the positionExcellent organizational skillsForklift experienceMechanical and mathematical aptitudeMust have demonstrated computer proficiencyStrong interpersonal and oral and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
MRO Inventory and warehouse experienceAssociates degree in Business, Manufacturing, Production or related fieldProficient knowledge of Infor (EAM) and JD Edwards E1
