Job Title: CNC Rebar Bender

Responsibilities

We are seeking a skilled and safety-consciousCNC Rebar Table Bender Operatorto join our fabrication team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating CNC-controlled rebar bending equipment to produce precision-cut and bent steel reinforcing bars according to project specifications. This is a hands-on position ideal for someone with mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.

Key Responsibilities:Set up and operate CNC rebar table bending machines to bend steel bars to specified shapes and angles.Interpret blueprints, bending schedules, and work orders to determine machine settings and production requirements.Monitor machine operation and make adjustments as needed to ensure accuracy and quality.Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on equipment.Inspect finished products for conformance to specifications using measuring tools.Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with safety standards.Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.Qualifications:High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).1+ year of experience operating CNC machinery or working in a steel/rebar fabrication environment.Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and bending schedules.Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.Familiarity with safety protocols in an industrial setting.Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.Preferred Skills:Experience with rebar fabrication or construction materials.Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment.Basic computer skills for machine programming and data entry.

Additional Skills & QualificationsFamiliarity with Genie Boom Lift and telehandler operations.Knowledge of bending conduit and deburring processes.Previous experience in a manufacturing or rebar environment.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in an industrial environment located downtown at a rebar manufacturer. The office is small, with business casual dress code, while the shop requires jeans, steel toes, and a t-shirt. Safety glasses are mandatory in safety-sensitive areas. Expect a hot and dirty environment, but one that is dynamic and engaging.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
