The Research Associate - Antibody Screening and Validation will be responsible for Rabbit monoclonal antibody development. Primary duties include performing experiments such as serum titration testing, antibody screening, and antibody pair validation using ELISA, HTRF, WB, antibody affinity and IgG concentration techniques. Detailed experimental documentation, database entry and report preparation are required.

This position reports to the Antibody and Screening Scientist and is part of the Antibody Development Team located in Waltham, MA and will be an on-site role.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Screen antibody pair candidates by various ELISA, HTRF, WB, IHC, ICC, FC, IP, IgG concentration quantitation, and affinity measurements at recombination stage according to the project requirement.Work closely with RA scientists and project stakeholders to make project progress smoothly.Collate and analyze the experiment results, update the experimental information on internal database

The essential requirements of the job include:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in biology, life science, or other related fields.Hands on experience in ELISA, Western Blot, IgG quantitation and affinity measurement are preferred.Solid organizational skills including attention to details and multi-tasking skills.

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role

Ability to travel 15 % travel, overnight, within territory or locationsAbility to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.
