Real Estate Solicitor - Development | City of London This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded UK law firm, ranked by both Legal 500 and Chambers UK, with a market-leading reputation in real estate development and social housing. The Firm: With more than 150 years of history in the City of London and a growing national footprint, this firm is recognised as a trusted adviser to a wide range of clients. From registered providers and care home operators to private developers, pension funds and build-to-rent investors, the practice is Tier 1 ranked for its work in social housing and continues to expand across the UK and internationally. The Role: - Managing site acquisition and development matters from start to finish. - Reporting on development searches and drafting full reports on title, with practical solutions for title issues. - Drafting, negotiating, and advising on development agreements, particularly with PLC housebuilders. - Preparing and negotiating plot, block, and phase leases and transfers. - Advising on deeds of easement, deeds of release, conditional contracts and option agreements. - Reviewing Section 106 agreements and planning consents (desirable but not essential). About You: - Qualified solicitor with 3-5 years' PQE. - Proven experience in real estate development and site acquisition work. - Strong drafting, negotiation and client-facing skills. - Commercial awareness with the ability to contribute to business development.
