Real Estate Records & Portfolio Specialist

JOB SUMMARY


The RE Records & Portfolio Specialist serves as a key member of the Real Estate Records and Portfolio Management team. The Records and Portfolio Management team supports a broad and diverse set of needs from basic management of lease abstractions and critical dates to full financial management of landlord invoices and reconciliation audits, providing comprehensive knowledge and access to data across the portfolio that enables our company to make strategic real estate decisions that support and enhance our core business. Our portfolio consists of approximately 25 million square feet and approximately 3,400 properties, ranging in size, scale, complexity and use.

This position is responsible for day-to-day lease administration services within an assigned area of Charter’s owned and leased portfolio. With an intense focus on data integrity, accuracy and process consistency, this position will partner with teams within Corporate Services, business stakeholders and legal counsel.


MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Actively and consistently supports all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experienceProperty and lease administration services, which may include:Abstract and interpret commercial lease documents (leases, amendments, subleases)Rent analysis and rent payment processingVendor/landlord relationship managementResolve of rent and other landlord/tenant issuesReview annual landlord reconciliation statements and real estate tax calculations to ensure accuracy and lease complianceData entry and data management of lease documentsTrack and maintain critical datesRespond to questions with regard to procedures, lease interpretation, and billing calculationsScan documents, open/distribute mailMonitor central lease administration mailboxSpecial projects as assigned by managerPerform other duties as requested

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge

Ability to read, write, speak and understand EnglishPrior experience with using a lease administration databaseAbility to interpret complex commercial lease languageDemonstrated financial/analytical skillsDemonstrated oral and written communication skillsDemonstrated organizational skillsAttention to detailDesire to learn and growAbility to work independently with minimal supervision and within a team to build relationships and interact effectively with business partnersAbility to multi-task, work successfully under pressure and effectively manage time and workloadAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) with the capability to master company specific databases / programs

Required Education

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent years of experience

The base pay for this position generally is between $22.30 and $40.80. The actual compensation offered will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. We comply with local wage minimums and also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of other incentive-based compensation such as bonuses.
