Description Amazon Global Realty (GR) is seeking a Technical Product Manager (PMT) to revolutionize our global site selection and optimization processes. This role will lead the development of data-driven solutions that power Amazon's strategic facility location decisions worldwide. As a PMT, you will be the driving force behind architecting and implementing advanced site selection models that evaluate potential locations across Amazon's global network. Your role seamlessly combines technical expertise with strategic thinking to transform complex location intelligence into actionable business insights that shape our facility decisions. You will develop and deploy sophisticated machine learning models for site optimization while creating scalable tools that streamline our decision-making processes. A key aspect of your role involves designing interactive visualization platforms that enable comprehensive market analysis and facilitate data-driven discussions with stakeholders. Working in close partnership with Real Estate Partners, you will translate intricate business requirements into robust technical solutions, ensuring our site selection process remains at the forefront of innovation. Your expertise will be crucial in developing predictive models that forecast site performance, creating sophisticated scoring systems for location evaluation, and building optimization algorithms that balance operational efficiency with cost considerations. This position requires someone who can navigate both technical complexities and business strategies while maintaining strong collaborative relationships across global teams to deliver solutions that drive Amazon's expansion strategy forward. Key job responsibilities As a PMT, you will oversee product development while managing expectations across the global network. Your role involves evaluating features to deliver value for teams and customers, maintaining communication of the product roadmap. You will guide engineering and design teams to meet deadlines, using working backwards methodology to build enterprise solutions. As technical Subject Matter Expert (SME), you will support users and teams on tool implementation and integration. You will lead standardization initiatives, creating processes to improve planning and sprint velocity. Success requires balance of leadership, management, and optimization to meet objectives and user needs while maintaining development progress. The base pay for this position ranges from $136,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
