Real Estate Controller LAM
The Impact You'll Make

The Real Estate Controller is responsible for overseeing and managing all financial operations related to the company’s real estate portfolio across Latin American countries. This strategic role ensures financial transparency, regulatory compliance, and optimal resource allocation to support corporate objectives. It plays a key part in driving informed investment decisions, aligning regional real estate performance with global standards, and fostering collaboration among cross-functional teams.

What You’ll Be Doing

Lead financial reporting and analysis for real estate operations, including lease accounting, capital projects, and occupancy costs.

Ensure compliance with international accounting standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP) and internal controls across all regions.

Lead month-end close meetings with RE managers to analyze final figures, accruals, adjustments, etc.

Oversee accounting for real estate transactions: acquisitions, dispositions, lease modifications, and subleases.

Develop and maintain regional real estate dashboards and KPIs to support executive decision-making.

Coordinate with external auditors, tax advisors, and legal teams on real estate-related matters.

Support strategic initiatives such as footprint optimization, sustainability reporting, and workplace transformation.

Lead or support system implementations and process improvements related to real estate financial management (e.g., ERP, lease administration tools).

Participate in strategic planning for site selection and space utilization (Plannon).

Communicate with stakeholders to provide financial information and answer questions.

Involve with RE team for CAPEX creation, evaluate proposals, and generate business cases.

Manage the regional real estate budget and forecasting process, including variance analysis and cost optimization strategies.

Partner with regional finance and real estate teams for accurate and timely financial data consolidation.

Manage signing of legal agreements and act as local legal representative.

Attend to local tax/legal requirements.

Oversee payroll stamping (wages/salaries receipts).

Required Qualifications

Finance and Accounting degree

5 years of relevant experience

Required Languages
