The Global Real Estate and Facilities (GREF) team provides real estate transaction expertise, business partnering, occupancy planning, capital investment management, workplace strategy and facility operations for Amazon’s corporate office portfolio globally. This role is on the Global Business Partnering (GBP) team, whose overarching purpose is to create a bridge between each business unit and GREF to align real estate strategies in support of business objectives. As a Manager on GREF’s Business Partnering team, you will serve as a business partner (BP) for the Worldwide Operations (WW Ops) and Worldwide Grocery including Whole Foods, Amazon Go and Amazon Fresh, working with the org's and GREF’s senior leaders.
This role acts as the key liaison between these business units and GREF, focusing on three critical areas: 1/ identifying and reducing defects pertaining to International Stores corporate real estate to improve scalability; 2/ developing standardized real estate and workplace mechanisms that provide data-driven insights to guide executive decision-making, leveraging performance metrics and industry trends; and 3/ elevating the influence of GREF’s suite of products and programs within International Stores to provide greater customer experience and efficiencies.
The optimal candidate is an experienced business partner who excels in an entrepreneurial culture, building trust quickly. They have a strong mastery of the range of challenges and scope within corporate real estate and workplace experience. They have vision, strong leadership and communication skills, and are comfortable with C-Suite executives. This person must be able to dive deep and deliver on behalf of the customer while dealing with ambiguity.
Key job responsibilities
• Drive strategic partnerships across enterprise teams (e.g., Finance, PXT, Public Relations, Legal, Security, etc.) and align GREF, Corporate FP&A, and Public Policy teams to support executive decision-making and trade-off analysis.
• Develop and implement business planning systems, including reporting mechanisms and data analytics, to track performance metrics and meet service level agreements (SLAs).
• Lead delivery of S-team executive-level real estate presentations, recommendations, and business cases, ensuring alignment across GREF teams and stakeholders while maintaining Amazon's fiduciary responsibilities, including cost savings mandates and GREF standards/protocols.
• Establish and manage operational rhythms, including integration into business planning processes and regular business reviews (WBR/MBR/QBR).
• Provide strategic leadership to drive the successful development, implementation of real estate initiatives through industry insights, best practices, and market analysis while overseeing issue escalation processes.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of program or project management experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership
- Experience developing and implementing standardized business processes
- Proven experience collaborating across technical and non-technical teams
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
- 1+ years of commercial real estate experience
- Bachelor's degree, or PMP certificate
- Demonstrated ability to perform advanced data analysis and effectively translate findings into actionable insights and deliverables
- Strong communication skills with proven ability to explain complex concepts clearly to diverse stakeholders

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
