Join us and build _your_ ambition. **ABOUT THE ROLE** Ready Mix Drivers are responsible for the primary day-to-day delivery of Ready Mix Concrete to Job Sites; home owner and industry clients. In this role as a Ready Mix Driver, you will be responsible for customer relationships, giving great service with a Friendly attitude to ensure customers receive a high-level delivery and product from Amrize. This is a customer-facing role that requires a service-oriented mindset and a highly professional approach. **WHAT YOU’LL ACCOMPLISH** + Understand traffic rules and regulations in a commercial vehicle and be courteous on the road. + Able to navigate around the City of Winnipeg, as well as surrounding areas, to maintain on-time deliveries. + Build and maintain relationships of trust with customers in assigned geography. Own the satisfaction of these customers at all times. + Maintain strong working relationships with Logistics, and Operations teams as well as fellow operators. + Relationship-building (External customers and internal Amrize personnel) + Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors. **WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR** **Education:** Grade 12 or equivalent **Field of Study Preferred:** Understanding of building materials industry, including product knowledge, an asset. **Required Work Experience:** A minimum of 1 year of related experience. Preference given to those with construction and heavy equipment experience **Required Training/Certifications:** Class 3Q (Air Brakes) or Class 1Q – Drivers abstract REQUIRED **Required Technical Skills:** Able to perform operation on electronic devices (Tablets, GPS, etc…), **Additional Requirements:** + Adhere to all Amrize safety and Environmental policies and procedures. + Maintain equipment by doing daily Pre and Post trip inspections, having a good sense of accountability to keep equipment clean inside and out. + Responsible for consistent and reliable customer service through delivery. Maintain a delivery service that is a positive, hassle-free experience for Amrize’s customers. + Have a flexible schedule. This position may require an individual to work different shifts as well be available weekends. + Open minded and a quick learner + Amrize Ready Mix Training Program provided. + Be able to lift >50lbs + Strong written and verbal communication skills + Ability to perform tasks on Electronic devices such as Tablets + High degree of accuracy and attention to detail + Problem solving and decision making + Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment + Strong sense of teamwork + Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators.
