This role is pivotal in converting inquiries into bookings while maintaining the highest standards of luxury service and guest satisfaction. **Key Responsibilities:** + Respond promptly to reservation inquiries via phone, email, and online platforms. + Convert leads into confirmed bookings by understanding guest needs and offering tailored solutions. + Maintain accurate records of reservations, cancellations, and modifications using hotel reservation systems. + Upsell rooms, packages, and amenities to maximize revenue while enhancing guest experience. + Collaborate with front office, revenue, and sales teams to ensure seamless booking processes. + Handle group bookings, corporate accounts, and special requests with attention to detail. + Provide expert knowledge of room types, rates, promotions, and hotel services. + Ensure all guest interactions reflect the brand’s luxury standards and personalized service ethos. + Monitor availability and adjust bookings in line with revenue management strategies. + Resolve booking issues and guest concerns with professionalism and empathy. **Requirements:** + Matric certificate; diploma in Hospitality, Tourism, or Sales preferred. + Minimum 2 years’ experience in reservations or sales within a luxury hotel or resort. + Strong communication and negotiation skills. + Proficiency in reservation systems (e.g., Opera, or similar). + Sales-driven mindset with a passion for guest service. + Ability to work independently and as part of a team. + Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays. **Preferred Skills:** + Experience with CRM systems and online booking platforms. + Multilingual abilities. + Familiarity with luxury hospitality standards and guest expectations. + Strong organizational and time-management skills. _At Marriott International, we are dedicated to being an equal opportunity employer, welcoming all and providing access to opportunity.
