We are now recruiting for a Reach Truck Operative to join our team based at Warrens Crick on a Full time and permanent basis.

Job Description

Shift: 4ON 4OFF Nights 

Salary: £12.94 per hour + £1.29 per hour Nights premium - £14.23 per hour total.

Overtime: Paid at 1.33 per hour plus 10% Nights premium - £17.21 per hour + £1.29 per hour Nights - £18.50 per hour total.

Operating a Forklift to transport materials and goods throughout the warehouse.Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently.Stacking and organising pallets and other items within the warehouse.Conducting pre-operation inspections of the forklift to ensure it is in proper working condition.Ensure the correct amount of product is picked and built correctly and safely onto a pallet, in line with warehouse proceduresStretch wrap the completed order to secure it and present it to the appropriate marshalling areaRemove incoming loads from vehicles paying attention to best before dates, product description, quantity and quality. Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to support the Goods in activityLoad picked and marshalled pallets from the marshalling area to outward bound vehicles using WMSMeet required Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)Ensure that all equipment is operated safely and used in line with trainingChange FLT battery when the existing one is flatClean the FLT on a daily basisAdhere to clean as you go policy with a special focus on the company’s recycling and waste management programEnsure that all Personal Protective Equipment is used, worn and maintained at all times and that all breaches in Health, Safety and Welfare are reported immediately to the site management teamUndertake further Warehouse Operative duties, as requested by supervisor/ manager

QualificationsA Reach Truck Licence is essential for this role - We will consider an In-house Licence. Experience of the safe operation of a electric powered pallet truckExperience of the safe operation of a electric ride on powered pallet truckAttention to detail and accuracyAbility to work as part of a teamAdaptable approach to trainingConscientious and reliable
