**Overview** The Key Accountabilities are, but not limited to: + Provide functional direction for General Ledger Team members on a day to day basis as appropriate for the team. + Manage completion within deadlines for all monthly financial statements & reporting functions in accordance with Group processes and policies. Group reporting packages include Actuals, CSR, Tax Packs, CCE, CBCR and etc) + Ensure compliance with all Group Policies and statutory financial controls including external/internal audit and FMC requirements. + Manage external audit, corporate taxes, GST, Witholding Taxes, statistical surveys and other statutory reporting matters, including liaison with relevant external parties. + Build and manage relationship with agencies and other SSC teams. + Provide advisory support and guidance for any accounting & taxes matters to agencies and other SSC teams. + Support collaboration within Groupe and agencies which include agencies integration, legal entities reduction, Post Monthend & Balance Sheet Review and etc. + Ongoing improvement of the quality of work processes in the General Ledger team to promote standard and efficient processes for both Re:Sources and Agencies. + Assist management on continuous improvement projects as appropriate that may arise on an ad-hoc basis. **Qualifications** **Experience/Qualifications** + 6-8 years post qualification experiences + Degree in Accountancy or equivalent + Experience in a shared services centre environment is preferred + Ability to Lead/Motivate a team Knowledge + Knowledge of accounting standards and tax requirements + Ability to analyse results and provide inferences and conclusions + Strong communication, interpersonal, planning & analytical skills + Demonstrate maturity in thinking and in conduct + Hands-on person with an eye for detail **Skills (including technology)** + Experience in using accounting systems and reporting packages + Experience in Hyperion and SAP is preferred + Strong working knowledge of Excel + Experience in analysis of data and reporting compilation + Preferably able to speak and read Malay language
