This position reports directly to the Manager of RCM Adjustments/Refunds and is responsible for supervising the day-to-day functions of the adjustments, write-offs, and refund team to achieve optimal results for our clients while ensuring compliance with payor requirements and RCM policies and procedures. Responsible to update current policies/ procedures needed for improved compliance and financial results.
Let's talk about Responsibilities:
Provide leadership, communication, and motivation, while supervising the day-to-day functions of the Revenue Cycle team
Ensure adherence to objectives, operating policies and procedures, and strategic action plans by aligning goals around business plans
Responsible for training and monitoring productivity of Revenue Cycle procedures to ensure tasks are completed within SLA
Act as a change agent while initiating various projects with the view of leading and guiding the organization towards a robust future
Oversee performance management and development of team members; coaching staff and assuring output levels are achieved with minimal errors.
Implement and ensure adherence to operating policies and procedures established, including government and state regulations
Prepare and submit reports to stakeholders as needed
Manages cases and ensures timely and accurate responses to the client and/or functional departments and leaders
Communicate updates to RCM Manager/Director
Let's talk about Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree preferred; however, will consider equivalent job experience
Minimum of 2 years’ experience related to health care revenue cycle management, preferably in the HME/DME industry.
Knowledgeable of Medicare, Medicaid and Private Insurance billing and documentation guidelines
Robust supervisory competencies in the areas of leadership and team development; including coaching, mentoring and situational assessment skills.
Experience developing high-performing teams in the day-to-day functions of billing, collections, or customer service
Broad knowledge of federal and state requirements relating to healthcare management
Proficiency with Brightree, Microsoft Office, and database software.
Strong ethics and a high level of personal and professional integrity
Customer service orientation
Excellent problem-solving skills focused on identifying and implementing solutions for customers
Effective communication skills with strong oral, written, and persuasive abilities to work with people at all levels in the organization
Exceptional organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multitask
Results-driven, self-starter who is highly motivated and able to troubleshoot challenges on the fly
Proven track record of working towards and exceeding metrics

Individual pay decisions are based on a variety of factors, such as the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
At ResMed, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current base range for this position is: $55,000 - $71,000
For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate’s geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
