This position is crucial for ensuring the effective execution of material plans related to raw ingredients supply chains to meet demand requirements from our master production schedule. This role involves close collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure timely material availability, while also focusing on continuous improvement in material planning processes. **Your Key Responsibilities:** **Schedule Management:** Create and maintain detailed raw material supply schedules based on input from material planners or established signals. **Supply Coordination:** Serve as the primary point of contact within the supply organization to resolve short-term supply and material availability issues, ensuring alignment with the master schedule. **Capacity Planning:** Utilize detailed capacity plans and collaborate with the RAW ingredients Material Planner, area managers, production teams, and supervisors to align on execution requirements. **Distribution Requirements Planning:** Manage distribution requirements and replenishment plans for finished product imports, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of products to designated locations. **Material Availability:** Ensure that the right materials are available at the right time, quality, and quantity to minimize production and storage costs. **Collaboration:** Assist Material Planner with polymer and additives planning, including daily physical inventory counts, and manage railcar deliveries to the plant. **Issue Resolution:** Lead efforts to resolve short-term supply-demand imbalances for raw materials, including physical inventory reconciliation and responding to any quality complaints. **Supplier Performance:** Participate in evaluations of supplier performance, providing actionable data to improve service levels and manage raw materials appropriately. **Data Utilization:** Utilize software systems to effectively plan and execute raw material procurement, while participating in continuous improvement initiatives. **Monitoring and Analysis:** Monitor key metrics, conduct root cause analysis, and propose corrective actions to supply movement issues, including domestic and interregional discrepancies. **Customer Collaboration:** Analyze demand patterns and customer SKU orders to maintain inventory levels, safety stocks, and align closely with sales and marketing for effective execution of phase in/phase out plans. **Qualifications:** **Education:** Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business experience (5+ years) in a supply chain-related role. **Certifications:** APICS CPIM certification preferred (minimum of modules 1-2 completed within 1 year of recruitment). **Experience:** 5 years of relevant work experience in a supply chain role, demonstrating strong planning and organization skills. **Six Sigma Knowledge:** Six Sigma Green Belt preferred. **Technical Skills:** Experience with SAP/APO/BW preferred. **Microsoft Office Proficiency:** Strong skills in Microsoft Office applications required. **Interpersonal Skills:** Ability to build strong relationships and develop effective networks.
