You will be the range support for our team, which is responsible for maintaining site support at a unique site. Our team is comprised of experts in range support, and we're looking for a talented individual to join our ranks.



What You Will Be Doing

As range support, you will be responsible for the site and preparing reports and maintaining records on equipment and preventive maintenance. You will also be responsible for troubleshooting failures, and maintaining and promoting safe working conditions.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

• Maintain entry and exit points
• Order materials, tools
• Prepare reports and maintain records on equipment and preventive maintenance
• Complete required paperwork timely and accurately
• Troubleshoot equipment failures both in service center and on customer locations
• Practice and promote safe working conditions in accordance with OSHA and other required regulations
• Maintain site security.
• Service building security requirements
• Perform work in some small machines for grounds improvement.
• Operate a forklift and aerial lift in an efficient manner
• Possess good communication skills and be willing to learn other systems
• Be willing to train personnel in group setting
• Maintain confidentiality

Further Information About This Opportunity:

This position will be located at our Fort Knox, KY location.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN – This position is in direct support of a U.S. government contract that requires a company-sponsored clearance to start.
Basic Qualifications:
Range support experience in security or maintenance

Ability to operate MHE equipment

General understanding of Range operating procedures and guidelines.

Knowledge of range safety: understanding of safety rules and procedures is crucial.
Desired Skills:
Range Safety Officer Certification: Essential for those working in range safety.

Knowledge of Firearms Safety: Understanding of safety rules and procedures is crucial.

Excellent Customer Service Skills: Ability to provide excellent service to customers is important.

Practical Skills: Ability to enforce range safety rules and conduct safety briefings.

Knowledge of Range Operations
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Top Secret

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
