Range Budget/Schedule Coordinator

The Alaka`ina Foundation Family of Companies (FOCs) has a need for a Range Budget /Schedule Coordinator to support our government customer located in Kekaha, Hawaii.

DESCRIPTION OF RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Range Systems Budget & Schedule Coordinator provides technical support for the development/refinement of operational schedules for assigned Ranges Systems Annexes.  This position provides direct support for the development of budget estimates for Technical Instructions (TIs) and other assigned new tasks. Program for delivery of quality data and products to meet all operational requirements. 

Works with Range Systems managers and supervisors on Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs) as well as weekly and monthly reportsAssists Range Systems managers and supervisors in preparing / submitting Technical Instruction (TI) proposals, Bases of Estimates (BOEs), schedules and other Contracts-related requirements.Works directly with the Range Planner on assigned annexes Estimate to Complete (ETC)Assists Range Systems managers and supervisors with daily schedulingGenerates and tracks purchase requests using Maximo. Uses purchasing card for Range Systems procurements.Maximizes cross-utilization with other departments when developing operational schedulesStudies and standardizes work procedures, devises new methods, recommends new procedures, forms and methods to effect savings of time, labor, costs and to improve efficiency.Performs other duties as assigned.

Office conditions are varied and include physical tasks including lifting, pushing or pulling up to 10 pounds. Physical positions will include but not be limited to sitting for extended periods of time, will include customer contact, extended workdays, an office laboratory environment.

REQUIRED DEGREE/EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION:

 High School or equivalent.Graduate of a recognized school of Business is a plus.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

10+ years of experience performing the major job requirements described aboveMust have an excellent working knowledge of PMRF range operationsAbility to use computer based scheduling systems such as the RSSFundamental understanding of program policies and proceduresMust be capable of operating calculators, copiers and facsimile machines, personal computers using word-processing (MS Word), data base and spreadsheet applications (MS Excel), Power Point, E-mail (MS Outlook), and other standard office equipmentAssists in the generation of documentation required for new personnel.Provides administrative oversight for employee training records.

REQUIRED CITIZENSHIP AND CLEARANCE:

Must be a U.S. CitizenSecret security clearance is required. (Applicants selected either must currently possess a Secret clearance or will be subject to a Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements to obtain clearance prior to commencement of employment, and maintain a security clearance for access to classified information or Closed/Restricted Areas throughout duration of employment.)
