RAMS Engineer
Job Requirements

Domain: Rail domain preferred

 

Exp: 3 to 5 years in RAMS

 

Purpose of the Job / Objective 

 

Perform Reliability and Safety Analysis and Product Related Deliverables in accordance with QCD Commitments on the Project (s) / Program (s).  Apply the applicable company prescribed Engineering / RAMS processes & instructions.

Responsibilities:

Delivering Signaling Safety analyses compliant with QCD Work Packages commitments Reporting the progress of his / her activities and alert the Train / Subsystem RAMS EngineerPerforming the Reliability and Safety Analyzes He / she is charged in charge, as per applicable safety instructions / processes and other specific instructions/Processes and other specific requirements committed to customer.  Addressing Customer / Independent Parties (ISA, NOBO, Debo ...) Comments to get its approval on the safety/Reliability deliverables.Applying Engineering Rules & process to his/her activities in particular those dedicated to safety/reliability activities. .Having a Pro - Active Challenge View on Safety / Reliability Data / Results He / She Handles to Enhance the adequacy/consistency of the Safety / Reliability Studies and Requirements.  Seeking the technical understanding of products in order to better evaluate their safety / reliability performance and potential areas of improvement.  Adopting a product – oriented mindset in performing his/her studies to foster the capitalization of the results of te studies towards the product reliability and safety performance.Contributing to the assessment of the Safety / Reliability performance of the product and to upstream notification of the necessary safety/reliability requirements to ensure the achievement of the safety/reliability targets.  

 

Job Specifications:

Knowledge & Experience 

 

Railway Signaling Safety analysis and demonstration methods and tools.3 to 5 years of experience in Railway or equivalent domain with safety and reliability.RBD, Reliability Allocation, IHA, SHA, PHA, FMECA, Reliability Prediction, FTA.  CENELEC Standards (EN 50128, EN 50129);  MIL - 217, IEC62380, MIL882 etc.Hands on with Safety CaseElectrical and / or Electro - Mechanical EngineeringGood communication and interpersonal skills Time management skills. Priorities of Sense.Structured and Organized with hands-on approach.English operational for reading and writing for Technical documentation.
