Position objective

RAM Engineer is responsible for supporting all Robotic, Automation and Manufacturing execution systems in the plant.

Also is responsible to implement, maintain and keep updated all manufacturing information systems and implement new technologies in the fabrication plants related to continuous improvement and product introduction related to the automation and Robotic aspects.

Roles & responsibilities
 

Leadership on Manufacturing Execution Systems (High and Low) communication protocols.

Integration and support of automated equipment (INE) for continuous improvement.

Update current production systems according to Model Year, ECN and Platform Introductions

Develop technological innovation projects as part of the continuous Improvement.

Ensure a technological pokayoke strategy related to Safety and Quality to reduce RPN's.

Ensure standardization in control hardware, programming logic as well as HMI's and screens architecture.

Manage program changes through a governance and approval committee.

Leadership on database for process parameters, OEE, MDT, and real time visual management of the operations KPI's.

Troubleshoot Robot and Gantries position for any dimensional adjustments.

Follow BRP values and behaviors.

Ensure a safe working environment and take full accountability for all safety related topics.

Enforce Quality BRP policy
 

Position profile:

Bachelor in: Mechatronic or Robotic Engineering or similar
 

Professional Experience: 

At least 3 years In: Similar position

Language:
 

Fluent in Spanish  written and verbal.

English written and verbal (Min: 80%).

Knowledge of French or German is an advantage

Technical skills (Minimum desired)

PLC programming (Allen Bradley & Siemens)

Robots programming (Fanuc)

MT process

4.0 Industry (scada ignition)

Automated systems (Pokayokes, INE)

Safety machinery legal requirements
