Radiology Technologist – 32 Hours – Burlington

SUMMARY

Performs and assists in a variety of standard and specialized radiographic examinations and procedures. Demonstrates competency in all age groups and works in accordance with established policies and procedures.

Must be able to image both adult and pediatric patients in a multispecialty site with an Urgent Care department. Willing to do fluoroscopy, injections and barium studies. Team player, flexible and able to work alone with good communication and decision-making skills.

EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalency certificate (e.g. GED, HiSET, TASC Test) from an accredited institution or governmental unit required. Graduate of an accredited radiography program and registry eligible. Must be licensed in Massachusetts as a radiologic technologist. CEU documentation required for licensure must be provided. American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) strongly preferred. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) may be required based on specialty.

EXPERIENCE

1 year experience working as a radiology technologist preferred.

SKILLS

Knowledge of Computed Radiography, Digital Radiography,Epic,Synapse,Pacsgear, answering phones and scheduling exams.
