What We Offer:
As a Certified Veterinary Technician in the Radiology department, you will be responsible for:Anesthesia InductionPartnering with DVMs to provide patients with appropriate diagnostics, including Ultrasound, CT, and X-rayPerforming anesthetic monitoring, including intubation/extubation of patientsObtaining and preparing various blood samples for diagnostic testingAccurately capturing and processing multiple types of radiographsOverseeing outpatient and inpatient radiology and imaging schedules, coordinating with other departments, staff, and radiologistsAssisting Advanced Imaging Technicians with high-quality MRI/CT studiesProducing high-quality diagnostic images in a timely mannerTroubleshooting imaging machines and associated equipmentDemonstrating strong knowledge of canine and feline anatomyEffectively communicating with clients, radiologists, and specialistsAssisting with patient care when the imaging department has down timePracticing proper radiation safety protocolsAbout You:CVT with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a veterinary hospital settingRecent graduates with an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology will be consideredComprehensive understanding and experience with anesthetic monitoring is preferredProficiency in processing basic laboratory specimens and a working knowledge of radiographic techniques is requiredAbility to work in a highly collaborative environment and a commitment to developing long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the communityPositive outlook and strong teamwork skillsPassion for delivering the highest quality of patient care
