**Work location:** Texas Health HEB: 1600 Hospital Parkway Bedford, TX 76022
**Work hours:** PRN Shift; As Needed
**Department Highlights**
· Full-service Radiology dept includes CT, Nuc Med, MRI, Ultrasound (OB/GYN, vascular and procedures included), Radiology (portables, Fluoro and OR)

**Here’s What You Need**
**Education**
· High School Diploma or equivalent required
**Experience**
· No experience required
· PCT, Transporter, or medical background experience is preferred
**Licenses and Certifications**
+ BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly) required
**What You Will Do**
Patient Care
· Uses multidisciplinary, team oriented actions
· Assesses and recognizes the patient's emotional, physical, developmental, cognitive and psychosocial conditions
· Greets and escorts patient, using two forms of ID and assists with time-out procedures
· Handles patients with IVs, oxygen, chest tubes or other devices, and assists with patient monitoring
· Demonstrates knowledge of the location and purpose of equipment
· Patient Transport
Equipment Operation and Maintenance
· Operates, cares for and cleans ancillary equipment
· Documents ancillary equipment malfunction
· Cleans equipment and room to sanitary standards
· Assists with daily, weekly, and monthly equipment checklist
Professional Accountability and Partnership
· Maintains and enhances technical skills and technology advancement
· Attends departmental continuing education, meetings, and checks email
· Identifies, troubleshoots and initiates quality improvement
· Manages time and reprioritizes as necessary
· Displays proper phone etiquette
