This role involves assisting with patient transportation, preparing patients for imaging procedures, and supporting general radiologic processes to ensure smooth and efficient department operations. Primary Department, Division, or Unit: Radiology, UHS Chenango Memorial Hospital Primary Work Shift: Day Rotational Regular Scheduled Weekly Hours: 24 Compensation Range: $14.50 - $18.85 per hour, depending on experience ----- Job Responsibilities: + Drives the commitment for exceptional patient experience + Transports patients safely and efficiently from waiting areas or hospital rooms to radiologic procedural areas + Assists with patient transfers from stretchers or wheelchairs to imaging tables, ensuring comfort and safety + Supports stock control by maintaining inventory, managing linens, and helping with general cleaning of procedural areas + Provides assistance with general administrative tasks to support departmental operations + Completes special projects as assigned by leadership + Performs additional duties as assigned within the scope of clinical support Position Qualifications: Minimum Required: + Current enrollment in a Radiology education program Preferred: + Previous Radiology work experience ----- Why You’ll Love Working at UHS At United Health Services (UHS), we believe every connection—to patients, to purpose, to each other—makes a difference.
