We want your knowledge and expertise! **Job Summary and Qualifications** + Manages the flow of patients and requests as they arrive in Imaging. + Greets each patient for the procedure, gathering relevant information for documentation & scanning. (orders, questionnaires, consents) + Assists in maintaining established departmental policies & procedures when applicable. + Participate in the Patient Satisfaction Survey process. + Provides patient and family education, as necessary. + Assists with patient transport and transfer as needed, assuring patient comfort & safety at all times, providing wheelchairs as necessary. + Maintains orderly & clean work area. Checks Supplies and accessories on a regular basis & places orders to maintain correct inventory. + Performs clerical, reception and scheduling duties, as necessary. + Able to access PACS; print CD’s for patients, physicians and other sources; import images from CD’s and scan documents. + Able to Merge exams in PACS. + Management of sending images through PACS to other facilities. + Proficient on the Chargemaster, CPT Codes, Meditech parameters and charges. + Reviews Ancillary report daily to view Charges. + Operates Meditech, other computers, fax machine, printers & copiers with proficiency. + Enhances professional growth and development through participation in HealthStream courses and educational programs, current literature and in-services if applicable. + Attends and participates in departmental and hospital wide meetings, as designated. + Establishes and maintains a good rapport and professional relationship with fellow employees, other departments and the medical staff. + Able to access MSDS sheets. + Assist with Order Entry in other hospital departments as needed. + Performs other related duties as assigned or required. **What qualifications you will need:** **Required: High School Diploma** + LewisGale Hospital-Alleghany is a 204-bed acute care facility in Low Moor, Virginia.
