Job Summary:

Assist Diagnostic Rad Techs as needed to prepare room and assist patients, Stock linen, Clean rooms, Assist patient changing, Assist patient on and off the radiography table

Qualifications:

Required:

Current Second Year student in a JCERT approved Radiography ProgramSuccessful Completion of First year radiography program

Licenses Certifications - None

Essential Functions

Ensures patient comfort, physical and mental well being during the examinationEnsures that room is properly stocked with all needed supplies prior to the beginning of the procedureAssists patients in transferring on to/off examination table for proceduresProperly prepares room before patient enters and cleans it after patient exitsUses an understanding of the principles of growth and development to assess each patients age specific needs and provide age specific treatment and care
